Receptionist/Administrative Assistant Part Time Salary: £6.50  per hour

You will be key to ensuring our visitors receive a warm welcome, dealing with enquiries in person and by telephone, handling admission charges, promoting Gift Aid, events and sales. Responsibilities include the attractive presentation of and service in our gift shop. This part-time role entails working habitually one weekend a month plus every Monday, including Bank Holidays.  Willingness to occasionally offer some further days to help cover any temporary absence of other team members would be valued. Finance Assistant Part Time Salary: £8.65 per hour

Working with our Finance Officer, we are seeking an AAT qualified Finance Assistant to work flexibly, hours by mutual agreement, initially the equivalent of 1 day per week, which may extend to 2 days per week for the right candidate.   Experience of SAGE 50 software essential.  Closing Date: 31 May / Interview Date: 10 June

 

Housekeeper Part Time, Maternity Leave Cover  Salary: £7.00 per hour

Responsible for cleaning and presenting Gilbert White’s House and the rest of the Museum, including our Field Studies Centre, as an attractive home to be enjoyed by our many visitors. Weekend working essential, hours by negotiation – typically 16 per week.

Catering Assistant Part Time, Casual Salary: £4.98-6.19 per hour dependent upon age

We are looking for those with a passion for preparing good food and offering excellent customer service in our award-winning, licensed Tea Parlour and function rooms.  We specialise in light lunches and traditional teas.  The ability to maintain a friendly, welcoming and cheerful manner under pressure is essential.  Hours by negotiation.  Minimum age 18 years. Closing Date: 31 May / Interview Date: 10 June
