Herbs & Resilience

“HERBS AND RESILIENCE”- How we can use medicinal herbs growing in our gardens to strengthen our physical and emotional wellbeing.

A hands on, introductory workshop showing you how to make teas and tinctures from herbs you will find in your own garden. With Medical Herbalist Sarah Hillyer BSc MA.

Sarah is a medical herbalist with 20 years experience and has a BSc in Phytotherapy,  MA in Education,  and a Diploma on both Nutrition and Iridology.  She practises from her home in Clanfield and also runs regular workshops and herbal walks and talks. She also has 30 years teaching experience and her passion for teaching is now deeply embedded in her current practice.

Sarah also works at the Sustainability Centre where she runs courses and  volunteers on the fundraising group for the new Learning Centre.  She believes that we all need to play our part in working towards a sustainable future. Central to all her work is a belief that when people are given the opportunity to take control of their own lives, and they do so with passion, knowledge and commitment, change happens.

A half day workshop including a light lunch, tea and coffee.
