“Gilbert White’s book, more than any other, has shaped our everyday view of the relations between humans and nature.”
Richard Mabey, Naturalist & biographer of Gilbert White

Our Nature Festival is back for 2020 bigger and better than before with talks, walks and stands for you to find out more about the natural world around you. Talk to organisations and charities to find out more about the landscape, animals, plant and creatures that surround us.

As part of the day there will be:
– Talks on nature
– Walks from the site
– Activities on stands

New for 2020 will be our eco section.

Gilbert White was a pioneering naturalist and gardener who focused on the natural word around him. As a site we focus on ecology and the natural world around us we want to offer you the chance to explore how you can make simple changes in your lives live in a more environmentally and ethical way.

Find inspiration from sustainability organisations and stallholders who will have items for you to buy that will help you be more eco and sustainable as well as hints and tips on what you can do to make a difference to help the natural world.
