From seeds and roots to shoots and fruits, find out about the plants large and small on which we all depend. This workshop makes use of our kitchen garden, flower garden and meadow for a range of hands-on activities to investigate the lifecycle of flowering plants. All activities will take place outside whatever the weather so please come dressed appropriately.

We can accommodate 4 families on this day. Please ensure you and your children maintain social distance from our staff and from other families attending. You will need to wear a mask at all times when inside the Field Studies Centre unless you are exempt. Children do not need to wear a face covering. Museum staff will wear face masks in all indoor spaces.
